Service Description

Are you on maternity leave and want to get outdoors with bubs? Perhaps Tuesdays are your day off with the littles and you're stuck for ideas as to where to take them? Join us every Tuesday for our Parents & Tots Sowing & Growing Sessions. This event is mainly a social event to allow us parents to connect in a safe environment with our little people in tow, with the added benefits of growing our own food and teaching our tiny people how to sow and grow, while boosting our mental health. Things you should know about me: ~ First Aid Trained ~ Mental Health First Aider ~ Manual Handling Trained ~ DBS checked ~ Commercial Aquaponics Course Qualified ~ Insured ~ Vast experience with plants and knowledge in small scale farming £4.00 per session and child admission is free. Unlimited tea, coffee, squash and refreshments. Your fee shall also cover the expense of seeds, compost and pots. You will be able to take home all seeds that you sow to begin your growing journey with your little people. For the cost of a Costa coffee, get more bang for your buck and join our parents and tots social club every Tuesday. We know that days don't always go as planned with tiny people, so no block booking required. Simply pay per session on the days that you can join us. Limited spaces per session (up to 8 adults and 2 children per adult). Child age limit is 5 years. It is advised that children who will be handling compost or soil have their 6-in-1 infant vaccinations, as these cover Tetanus which although rare, can be found in organic matter. ~ Parking available on site ~ Portaloo on site ~ Please bring your own pram and travel cot / toys (not essential but very useful to set up a small enclosed play area for your little ones to free up your hands!) ~ Please bring your own packed lunches and water bottles ~ Warm clothing, puddle suits and wellies are essential ~ Please bring baby changing bags.
